Cleanup AI for macOS
Most issues can be resolved without exposing any file names or paths. Start with the guidance below, then contact us if you still need help.
Folder access
Open Settings → Permissions, select Check Access, and use Repair Access for any folder that needs attention.
Scan results
Run Scan Now after changing folder access. Cloud-only placeholders are skipped until macOS downloads them.
Undo a change
Open Activity Log and choose Undo for a supported Trash or organization action. Name collisions are restored safely.
Diagnostics
Settings → Advanced can export a local support bundle that excludes file names, paths, folder names, and file contents.

Email i@weiming.net with your Cleanup AI version, macOS version, what you expected, and what happened. Attach the privacy-safe diagnostics export if it is relevant.
Before contacting us
- Do not send private files, file contents, or screenshots containing sensitive names.
- Check that the selected folder still exists and is available in Finder.
- For Trash restores, confirm that the original parent folder still exists.
